me2“When I first started my weight loss journey, I worked out 5 days a week HARD, lots of running, weights and cardio….and guess what happened at the end of 30 days? I GAINED WEIGHT!!! Yes, I gained about 5 pounds in my first 30 days. I cried and cried and cried. Needless to say, I was severely disappointed and wanted to give up. However, my Trainer, Christin Pearson is a BEAST and would NOT let me quit. The next 30 days I worked out harder and added clean eating to my regimen. At the end of my 2nd 30 days working out, I had lost 8 pounds and several inches!

I say all this to say, I feel you ladies. I know what it’s like to be disappointed with your weight loss journey. I know what it’s like to see other women and want to be their size. I know what it’s like to just want to quit. I know what it’s like to dread clothes shopping. I have been there and it is not easy.

What I can tell you is since having such an amazing Trainer and Fit Family, I have lost over 35 pounds and still dropping.

I still have weight loss goals to accomplish but one thing I clearly understand is your weight loss journey is YOU vs. YOU. But more importantly it is about who surrounds you. Who has your back when you don’t feel like getting up? Who will run an extra lap with you when your legs hurt? Who will hold you accountable? Yes, it’s probably cheaper to try to workout on your own but understand this….. The group of women at P2 Fitness are not just my friends, they are my FAMILY and that is why I WILL not give up on myself or my goals.”
